Nev Holder and Jane had sent me a picture from The Flash, San Francisco, CA. Dated April 5, 1961
They state they picture took the entire page and reads as follows:
USNS Sultan Departs for the Orient
"The Navy Transport General Daniel I. Sultan, which left today from Fort Mason with 1268 Passengers for Japan. Okinawa, Formosa and Korea, Aboard were 1200 Army (our guys), 51 Navy and 17 Air Force personnel and dependents."
The picture is the same as above.
